2020: February 25-26;  July 28-29

2021: February 23-24; July 27-28

Bar Exam Format

The Hawaii Bar Exam is administered over two days (Tuesday and Wednesday).  The written portion of the bar exam is administered on day 1.  It consists of six Multistate Essay Exam questions and a short quiz on the Hawaii Rules of Professional Conduct.  In the afternoon, examinees are required to answer two 90-minute Multistate Performance Test questions.  On day 2 of the Hawaii Bar Exam, the Multistate Bar Examination is administered.  

Bar Exam Scoring Information

The score from each day is weighted equally.   

MPRE Requirements
